By the late 19th century, Bailey Banks & Biddle was firmly established as the pre-eminent American jeweler. The company's work can be found in the Smithsonian and other top museums throughout the world. In 1904, Bailey Banks & Biddle created the updated and final version of the Great Seal of the United States. The following year the firm was commissioned to produce the Medal of Honor.
