Lantaka Cannon
This cannon was actively used, and still works. The "Dolphins" it has the very rare crocodile carvings on the breech. Also adorned with a large sight, double rear sights, ornately decorated breech, and deep natural patina. Guaranteed Antique and may be as old as 350 years! 57" long at longest point, and 7" wide. This sale of this item, does not include the wooden mount that it is currently displayed on.
Pre-Colonial bronze cannon cast in Indonesia. These cannons were typically mounted on merchant ships traveling the waterways of Malay Archipelago, or mounted on walls of defending port walls.
