Soviet made "ARTEKIL" Balalaika, made in Kazakhstan, c. 1983. The Balalaika is a Russian stringed musical instrument with a triangular wooden hollow body & three strings. Two strings are tuned to the same note "drone" and the third string is tuned a fourth note higher. Has label in the original Russian. 26-3/4" L. Estimate $70.
